An employer's perspective: Supporting a registrant through fitness to practise proceedings

Ruth Clement is Head of Kent Children’s Therapies at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. A concern was raised about a HCPC-registered therapist that Ruth line-managed. Here she gives her perspective on the events and shares tips for employers or managers in similar situations.

Step 1 - Log into your online account

You log in using the email address and password that you set up during the activation process

Step 2 - Complete your renewal information

Complete your professional declaration and submit your equality monitoring information if you haven’t shared this previously

Step 3 - Pay your renewal fee

You can spread the cost by paying by direct debit, which we will not collect until you have completed your professional declaration.
